Nate and Jen

Jen and Nate are one of the coolest couples I have ever known. To see the two of them together and be able to capture their love for each other on film has been one of the most enjoyable events I have ever photographed. Here are just a few of my favorite images. More to come... but right now I have to get ready to check out of my hotel!

Have a great honeymoon, guys!!

ATLANTA!!

I'm here in Atlanta about to shoot my friend's wedding!! I have been looking forward to Nate and Jen's wedding for - well ever since I met them - but since they got engaged last July. Nate and Jen are one of those couple's that when you see them together, you know they were designed for each other.

I'm heading to their wedding in a few hours and will post some pictures later tonight.

Allison and Chris

Allison and Chris are getting hitched in May of 07. They were such a fun couple to shoot because they were up for ANYTHING!! It was so nice to walk around Boston with them, and capture them in some of their favorite spots throughout the city. My favorite part of the day - watching Chris jump as high as he could over and over again!!

Amy and GJ

I love doing engagement shoots because I get to know the couple a bit better. Amy and GJ are such a sweet couple, and I can't wait to shoot their wedding next May. I had so much fun walking around Beacon Hill with them, and can only imagine how much fun the two of them will be on their wedding day!

The Comisso Family

The Comisso's are one of my favorite families to shoot. I shot their wedding in May of 2005 and continue to share so many special moments with them. Their daughter Sophia is such a character! She is already developing such a fun personality all on her own! I am so excited to be able to capture some of her fun little moments!

Catching Up...

This past month has been so fun because I have been able to shoot so much!! I apologize for not keeping up with blogging, and am trying to get everything up today!!

A couple of weeks ago I photographed the Slotemaker family. I'm not sure I've ever seen a more beautiful family!! Their daughter Grace is just learing to crawl around and explore different areas of their home! Being with the Slotemaker's made the thought of having children so exciting!!!

Ariel and Keith

Ariel and Keith's wedding was one of those weddings little girls dream of all of their lives! Ariel got ready with her entourage at a lovely hotel in downtown Boston. It was so fun to capture her getting ready because everyone around her was so excited and supportive throughout the whole process. Keith and Ariel decided to see each other before the ceremony in order to maximize our time outdoors - and maximize our time we did! They were soooo fun to run around Boston with. Keith and Ariel were up for anything - including a slice of pizza from their favorite nearby pizza place - The Upper Crust!! The weahter could not have been better for a wedding - almost 70 degrees in mid November!!!

Both the ketubah signing and the ceremony were so beautifully done, that even I got choked up! And man can these two put on an INCREDIBLE party!! Everything was so perfectly done, the band, the food, dancing, right down to the milk and cookies served at the end of the evening!!!

Thanks for choosing me to capture such a wonderful story! I hope you both have a fabulous time in Thailand!!

ENGAGED!!!

So you know how Hollywood poisons every woman's mind by having those unbelievably romantic moments we all wish would happen to us? Well I just had my "Hollywood moment"!!! My wonderful boyfriend, Sean surprised me in NYC and PROPOSED ON THE BROOKLYN BRIDGE!! I was COMPLETELY SHOCKED and wonderfully surprised! How does one lure another onto such a bridge in the middle of the night? With an accomplice of course! My dear friend, Erin had been conspiring with Sean for weeks to put this together.

Erin and I went to the Xtreme seminar this week and had planned on her husband coming down to spend an evening with us. While on our way to meet her "husband" at a local bar, she told me that he decided to go for a walk over the bridge to see the crazy halloween people walking around in costumes. I naively walked over the bridge waiting to meet Erin's husband, Matt, wishing Sean were there to see the overwhelming beauty of the bridge at night!! When we got to the middle of the bridge Sean was there!! For a second I thought he just came to New York with Matt to surprise me. Turns out he was there to ask me to marry him!! Of course I said yes, because if you know this man, you know he is the most wonderful, loving, kind, honest, FUNNY man ever - and I would be crazy to ever let him go!!

Thanks, Erin for capturing such an unforgettable moment in my life. You are a rockstar of a liar and an AMAZING friend and photographer!!

And Sean, thanks for the story! I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you.
