Tapas y Vino, OH MY!
A couple years back Sean and I had our FIRST date at a cute little tapas restaurant in
Brookline. Little did we know then that that evening would launch us into a full blown relationship, which QUICKLY led to a lifetime of happiness - awwww!
So you can imagine our excitement when Deborah - the owner of Taberna de Haro - asked us to redo her website. This was our first project together - Sean designed the site, and I took the pictures. Not only did we get to work with a fabulous restaurant owner, we got to eat the featured goodies that evening as well!
If you are looking for an intimate, YUMMY place to wine and dine your lady, Taberna is the place.

Marathon Monday
**UPDATE**
Many people have been asking me why I did this run, (knowing me, and my inability to run any kind of distance) and the ONLY reason I would have ever done such a stupid thing is because of my dear friend, Dianne. Dianne planned on running a marathon this spring, and I stupidly said I would train with her! Then came winter... UGH! It was a cold, long winter, but well worth the effort because I was able to spend those horrid runs with her. Dianne worked SO hard, and definitely would have qualified for Boston had she not injured her knee just before the marathon. So in answer to your questions, I did this race for Dianne. Had it not been for her, I NEVER EVER would have been able to run 26.2 miles! So thank you, my sweet friend. Thank you for pushing me. You will run again, and I will be there with you cheering you on!
It is finished!!
It has been a long, cold winter of training, but it was all worth yesterday when I crossed the finish line in Boston!
As many of you know, the Ohio marathon didn't work out so well due to injuries, so I decided just to go for it in Boston yesterday. This marathon meant so much because I have grown up here and have always envied those who can endure such a race. What a feeling to say I FINISHED BOSTON!!!!
Now back to normal life! NO more running for a while :)
Here is a picture of us at the finish line - can you tell which two got the most attention ;) Adi and Carolyn, I cannot express my gratitude for jumping in with me. The two of you are ROCK STARS, and I am forever grateful to you both!

OFF TO OHIO
I am leaving in the morning for Ohio to run the marathon!! Looking forward to the predicted 30 degree snowy wheather.
At least it's what I'm used to.
Pray for no injuries!
Been photographing tons of children this week, and am excited to share them with you. Here's a small glimpse of what is to come.
Sophia.

RUNNING... a marathon?
There was an article in the New York Times today about experiencing a runner's high, and it caught my eye because I have been training for a marathon this winter. No, not Boston, I am actually running in the Toledo, Ohio marathon in TWO WEEKS!!!
It has been quite the challenging winter of training!! After never having run more than 7 miles (once in my life!), my friend Dianne and I committed to running this April! There have been MANY moments of wanting to do anything BUT run, but overall it has been a great experience, and I am actually looking forward to running TWENTY SIX MILES!! I'll let you know how it goes.
For now, check out the article below to gain a sense of what I have been feeling the past few months. WISH ME LUCK!!
THE runner’s high: Every athlete has heard of it, most seem to believe in it and many say they have experienced it. But for years scientists have reserved judgment because no rigorous test confirmed its existence.

Yes, some people reported that they felt so good when they exercised that it was as if they had taken mood-altering drugs. But was that feeling real or just a delusion? And even if it was real, what was the feeling supposed to be, and what caused it?
Some who said they had experienced a runner’s high said it was uncommon. They might feel relaxed or at peace after exercising, but only occasionally did they feel euphoric. Was the calmness itself a runner’s high?
Often, those who said they experienced an intense euphoria reported that it came after an endurance event...
